Environment, Schedule, Atmosphere
Environment: Our childcare and preschools have been designed to utilize our open space and classrooms to their fullest potential. Activity centers provide high interest areas for children to explore and learn in. Our daily program offers: arts & crafts, academic learning activities, audiovisual programs, cooking, computer education, drama, dance, physical education, library and story telling, organized games, music education and foreign language instruction.
Schedule: The day is built around familiar routines that include a morning and afternoon snack, lunch time and rest period. In addition to these basic needs, we offer a quality, well-planned child care curriculum constructed with the developmental needs, interest and skills of the children in mind. The variety of activities allows for free choice play, quiet reflective settings, both indoor and outdoor gross motor development activities, group interaction and individual learning experiences.
Atmosphere: Throughout the day, the pace is relaxed and informal. The children are treated with dignity and their feelings are respected by our caring, supportive staff. Teachers work with children to help them form their own solutions to problems and to develop skills that will enrich their lives. Our goals are to enhance a child's desire to learn, provide experiences for all aspects of the child's development and provide time for the children to socialize with each other.
